Ready to lead and sacrifice everything for the nation, the youth of the country can actualize their dreams of serving the nation best by becoming the part of the Indian Armed Forces, and this is possible through the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination conducted twice in the year by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in the months of February and September. Through this examination, officers are recruited into various Technical and Non-Technical grades of the forces. Getting a training of almost a year and a half, the youth enters the 'world' where he/she can find himself/herself very near to his/her 'dreams'.
The Candidates are subjected to the rigorous interview process by the armed force in the form of Service Selection Board Interview after qualifying in this written examination, conducted in two levels:
1. For admission into Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy & Air Force Academy consisting of Objective Type Questions in English, General knowledge and Mathematics.
2. For admission into Officers' Training Academy, Naval Academy consisting of Objective Type Questions in English and General Knowledge.
Now-a-days, due to the increase in the number of candidates and the increasing complexities of the questions, one has to face a tough competition. A systematic study for the test can only guarantee the success in it.
